On the 250 cid engine the alternator lives on the passenger side front of the engine.
The voltage regulator is inside the alternator on a 1984 Chevy.
I am looking for a manual on 1984 Heritage Motor Home Chevy motor.

Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Disconnect the two electrical connectors from the alternator. Remove the support bracket. On 1991 models or earlier, remove the AIR pump-to-alternator bracket bolt from the alternator. Remove the front lower bolt. Remove the rear lower bolt. on 1991 and earlier models, loosen the AIR pump-to-alternatorbracket bolt on the AIR pump and swing the bracket up and out of the way. Remove the alternator.
The voltage regulator is inside the alternator.
The wiring harness from a typical alternator has three wires. One is for grounding, one is from the battery, and the other is from the voltage regulator. In a GM alternator however, there may be two wires or only one wire. It depends on whether you have an external voltage regulator or not, and if the alternator simply grounds itself to the bracket it's attached to. The best way to find out is to trace the wires to their sources.
screw the three bolts in front of powerstering pump and mount to motor
The high speed blower relay is located on the engine bulkhead bracket next to the blower motor. === ===
Looking over the right front fender on a V6 it is at the front of the engine on your right side.
First check fuses, relays to wiper motor. Then check power to wiper motor. Then check linkage to wiper motor.
1984 through 1987 as long as the motor is the same.
