The front end geometry is different on all cars. Some need king pins, some need ball joints, some need idler arms, some need Pittman arms, just depends. Take it to an alignment shop, if repairs are needed they will tell what you need.
Assuming that one is referring to a front wheel alignment, there are a number of signs that can indicate that this process is required. If the car has driven over 100,000 miles since the last alignment, the front tires are wearing unevenly, the front of the car shakes when driving on a smooth surface, or the car is pulling to one side, a front wheel alignment is probably needed.
Not necessarily, but it should be checked anyway. The front wheels on your car are referenced off the back 'trailing' axle so if the rear axle was off then the entire alignment is off. Older vehicles and many pickups are referenced off the ' driving' or 'fixed' rear axle but the rear axle is non-ajustable where as your cars is. This is a more precise way of alignment.
It refers to the alignment of the wheels on a car. If you were to face the front bumper of a car, and you could grab the front tires at about the mid-way from the ground to the top of the tire, and then pull the wheels together towards the center of the car, then you would have cause a toe-in alignment of the front wheels.
Needs to have a front end alignment?
You probably need an alignment .
Adjust rear of car then front of car. Adjust in this order: Caster, Camber, Toe.
Sounds like your tie rod ends have come undone. They will need to be reconnected and the car alignment done before you can drive it.
Most commonly a pull to one side indicates the front end out of alignment. Taking the vehicle to an alignment shop can confirm that the front end needs to be adjusted.
Have your alignment checked.
A alignment is needed if its pulling to one side. Where as a balance is needed if the car is viberating.
It should be right around $60
The front wheels of a car can wobble because the car's suspension is not in proper alignment. The wheels may also wobble if the rim is bent or if the tire is improperly installed
