To release the fuel pressure on a 1995 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition before changing the fuel filter, locate the fuel pump relay in the fuse box and remove it. Then, start the engine and let it run until it stalls, indicating that the fuel pressure has been released. Finally, turn off the ignition and disconnect the negative battery cable for added safety before proceeding with the fuel filter replacement.
