An '87 Caravelle may spit and sputter after warming up due to several potential issues. Common causes include a faulty ignition system, such as worn spark plugs or ignition coils, which can misfire as the engine heats up. Additionally, a clogged fuel filter or issues with the fuel injectors can disrupt fuel flow, leading to inconsistent engine performance.
