Try the rotor(under the cap). mine was burn't, talk about shake rattle and roll I've had 3 Nissan pu's greg
also, check your vacume lines. Even one can cause sputter. There is a wire coming out of the bottom of your distribitur. if it gets frayed, it can have the same result. Check your fuel flow. dirty carb or fuel injectors will cause it to sputter and or die when put in gear.
I would have to say yes BUT what part are you changing?? You can change the engine if you want but it is hard.
Your distributer might have a crack in it and moisture is getting in to it and grounding it out,inspect it,wipe clean and check.
It'll fit, but it probably won't work very well, as a 1996 transmission would be wholly electronic, and the 1990 transmission would not.
Vaccuum leak somewhere
FUEL PUMP IS YOUR PROBLEM {why do you think its the fuel pump?}
you might need a heater core
Check your fuses.
I have a 1991 Nissan ex-cab 4x4 D21 pickup. I would like to know what size the gas tank is. Answer: King Cab 4WD Tank (US gallons) 15.90
blown fuse, bad wire, bad bulb....
Richey cintorino Check the fusable link, that caused all my guages to go off on my 1987 pickup.
Check your fuses if it is not your fuses i would say check your hazard switch, mine went bad on my Nissan and caused that problem
1st off, i would ck elec. connections @ battery. If no probs then i would ck the fuseable links (i have a '88 z2.4 and they are located in the wiring harness very near the positive battery conn.)
