There could be several possible reasons why the brake lights stay on all the time on a 307. The most common reasons would be a bad relay or a bad switch.
There is a bushing that the brake light switch rest against when the brake pedal is not depressed. They are known to break. You can get a replacement bushing from any Honda dealer for around $5.00. Just tell them your brake lights stay on all the time and they will know what to give you.
why would the lights and the horn stay on all the time just started when the battery was changed
A malfunctioning brake light relay switch will cause your 1993 Toyota Corolla brake lights to stay on all the time. The brake light relay switch is located beneath the drivers side dashboard.
Under the brake pedal is a brake light switch that when you press the pedal it hits it and makes your lights come on..sometimes when they get weak the pedal depresses them simply from the weight of the pedal and they stay on..Have a friend get inside the truck and pull UP on the brake pedal as you look at the lights..if the brake lights go off when they pull up on it..then it is that switch under the brake pedal
Check the brake light switch. It's under the dash, connected to the brake pedal. If it's adjusted wrong or faulty, it could cause the brake lights to stay on. If you can use a meter and tell that the brake light switch is ok, next test the turn signal switch. Sometimes they short out and leave the brake lights on. You'll have to pull the steering wheel to do that.
check brake light fuse and brake light switch on pedal
why my jeep brake light on all time
Brake lights are on continuously while you are driving. Every time the brake pedal is depressed.

If you replaced the brake switch it sounds like you put the new one on backwards.
At the top of the brake pedal there is a little plastic piece that pushes the switch to turn the brake lights off after the pedal is released. The plastic piece has a tendenacy to fall apart after a period of time. I fixed mine with by replacing it with a 20 cent medal bolt.
