No! Two TXL's make a King mattress.
One twin mattress is 39 inches wide and 75 inches long. One twin XL mattress is 39 inches wide and 80 inches long. A standard king size mattress is 76 inches wide and 80 inches long. So technically two regular twin mattresses don't exactly equal a king size mattress because they are too short by 5 inches. Two extra long twin mattresses make a more accurately sized king size bed. In a pinch you could put them sideways and sleep across the king bed.
No. A twin mattress measures 39" (wide) by 75" (long) A queen mattress measures 60" by 80" So two twin mattresses, side by side, would be 5" shorter and 18" wider than a queen mattress.

a queen bed = 60 by 80 a king bed = 76 by 80 So the width is the same so two queen beds do not equal 1 king bed, they would be much bigger

2 twin mattresses together would be the equivalent of a king sized bed. so you should get a king sized comforter. Source: Myself. There's one of these in my house.

the front part of the bed pulls out, and if you have two twin mattresses, it actually becomes a king-size bed. we have 2 thin twin foam mattresses stacked on top each other, and lie them side by side to make a king when it is pulled out.

It depends. If the twin mattresses are XL, then you should be able use a standard King sheets. If the twin mattresses are standard length, then the bed will be shorter than your usual King bed. In that case you could use 2 flat King sheets - tucking in the bottom sheet all the way around (in place of a fitted sheet). Or, you could use 2 twin fitted sheets with a flat king sheet for over top. I'm not sure how sucessful it would be to use a king fitted sheet as it would be too long.

To create a larger sleeping space using 2 twin beds, you can push them together side by side to form a king-size bed. You may need a bed bridge or a mattress topper to fill the gap between the two mattresses for a seamless sleeping surface.
