The exchange rate between the US dollar and the Mexican Peso is flexible, so the number changes all the time, on a daily or even hourly basis. When I went to Mexico in 2004, it was about 10 Pesos to one US dollar.

As of 2009, it had slipped to more than 13 pesos to the dollar.

In early 2017, it was averaging 21 pesos to the dollar, each peso being worth slightly less than 5 cents.
