Underline
To remove an underline from text in a word processor like Microsoft Word or Google Docs, you can highlight the underlined text and then click the "Underline" button in the toolbar or use the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl + U on Windows or Command + U on Mac) to toggle the underline off. You can underline an email address by pressing Enter in many email applications. You can also underline it by highlighting it and selecting the underline function.
To underline text, you can use HTML <u> tag. Enclose the text you want to underline within <u> and </u> tags. For example: <u>Underline this text</u>.
The Shortcut key can be used for selecting some commands. There are also many specific shortcut key combinations for commands and there are the Function keys.

if you want to underline only words without underlining space between words, select word then hold down Ctrl and select other words you want to underline then press Ctrl + U shortcut for underlining words. Or if you are into using hotkeys, the shortcut to underlining only words and not spaces is Ctrl+Shift+W.
