ctrl+i is the keyboard shortcut of the Italic button.
The keyboard shortcut function control-w or ctrl-w closes the window of the program you're in. It's the opposite of ctrl-n, which opens a new window.
Well some computers have special key shortcuts. On my computer, a key turns off the mouse pad. You are probably clicking a keyboard shortcut.
Press the Windows Key to Pull up the Start Menu. You will have to use the arrow keys to navigate to the startup menu.

To remove an underline from text in a word processor like Microsoft Word or Google Docs, you can highlight the underlined text and then click the "Underline" button in the toolbar or use the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl + U on Windows or Command + U on Mac) to toggle the underline off.
