I am a coffee addict so I'm probably biased. I have acne, but I believe it came about due to the thyroid medication I'm on. I'm not sure. Before I started that medication for my thyroid I never had acne. Then again I never used to drink coffee either.

However I read somewhere on the internet that the coffee itself may not aggravate your acne but it is the milk in the coffee that does. All dairy products are supposed to aggravate your acne apparently.

Somewhere else I read that recent research shows that caffeine might actually be good for your skin. It's a diuretic, a vasoconstrictor and has lots of antioxidants. Apparently it can help tighten your skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles around ure eyes and stuff. Again I'm not sure about any of this, it's just what I read on a couple websites a while back.

I don't have the web pages for them otherwise I would have posted it up.

Hope this was helpful.

Answer

P didy used proactive and said he still had bumbs so was going to sue proactive. They said it was because he was drinking caffeine and sugary drinks and that is what caused it so he didnt sue them and stopped drinking the caffeine. Personally i don't think milk really agravates acne if anything its the caffeine in the coffee so i don't think coffee can be a big role in causing acne, if you already have acne though it can maybe aggravate it
