Unfortunately, going swimming will cause this semi-permanent haircolor to fade quite a bit. The best way to protect it and extend the life of your color would be to wear a swimmer's cap, or avoid getting your hair wet altogether by not going under water.
If Color Fiend is a "temporary" hair color, it will last from shampoo to shampoo. In other words, it will wash out as soon as it is shampooed from the hair. If it is a "semi-permanent" color, it will gradually fade with each shampoo.
Yes, if you are swimming in a pool that has chlorine in it. Some other chemicals added to swimming pools to clean the water react with your hair. It can turn blond hair green and it can change the color if you have dyed or rinsed your hair color.

RAW, SPLAT, Manic Panic, Color Fiend, if you are really desperate you can use colored markers or Kool Aid(mind you, Kool Aid is usually red so you dont have much option there). Where I live most people use RAW and Color Fiend, I haven't heard many good reviews about SPLAT. Here is a list in order of preferance: 1. RAW (also has good hair bleach) 2. Color Fiend 3. Manic Panic 4. SPLAT 5. markers and Kool Aid.
1. open the package 2. dip the little comb in 3. comb it onto the part of your hair that you want the color on 4. dont wash for a day or two if you want the color to stay longer, if you have bleached hair, you can wash it out and it will still be there, dark hair does not work, otherwise, dry, style as desired and enjoy
