NO NO NO NO NO! If you are going to pierce it yourself (There really is no reason to, but I can't stop you.) then you need to use rubbing alcohol then get an ice cube to numb it and then take an apple slice and place it on top of your ear. Then you pierce your ear. The apple helps because you wont know when you are actually going through you ear.

You shouldn't. Nail polish remover could damage your flute. I know because I spilled nail polish on my boyfriends *now husband* flute. and it got destroyed :(

I just used nail polish remover on my black leather chair and ottoman (made by Ashley)to remove pink nail polish and it worked without damaging the leather.
You have to pull the nail clean off then let a new nail grow.
