There is no direct evidence to suggest that amoxicillin affects the effectiveness of Botox. Amoxicillin is an antibiotic, while Botox works by blocking nerve signals in muscles. However, individual responses can vary, and it's always best to consult with a healthcare professional regarding medication interactions and their potential effects on treatments like Botox.
No, it can very much cause you TO GET PREGNANT. If you are using birth control medicine like amoxicillin will make your birtch control be way less effective
No, it isn't supposed to make you miss a period. But if you are on the pill, Amoxicillin can make them less effective and you could have gotten pregnant. You should take a test or go see a doctor.
Yes! There is a common myth that alcohol mixed with antibiotics, such as Amoxicillin, causes interactions. This is not the case. While medical professionals will advise an individual taking an antibiotic to avoid alcohol it does not cause any interactions or pose a risk to the individuals health. The idea is that if you are sick enough to take antibiotics that you should not be drinking alcohol until you are well. There are no known drug interactions associated with Amoxicillin. There is also a belief that Amoxicillin is less effective when taken in combination of drinking alcohol, this too is untrue.

Referring to BOTOX patients and/or Doctors are referencing BOTOX Cosmetic Treatments. BOTOX is a protein that is injected into the face (most commonly) to relieve the appearance of certain wrinkles and lines. This is NOT a permanent solution, as the results tend to last around 6 months. The less BOTOX used in a treatment the more natural the results will look. Ideally, the Doctor would inject only into the muscles that controls the larger wrinkles, so not to overdo the process.

Sure for the price of Botox, Haven't you heard of the cavier and champagne party's Actually I get Botox injections for Blepharospasms. Trust me if I didn't have involuntary eye movement I would not get them. Insurance is paying less and less each year. The cost of my last injections were billed $1940. They applied $1192. towards my deductible which is $2500. so I paid out of pocket $1192. Mind you this is a medical condition. I think I should get champagne and cavier for this price!!!
The number of syringes needed for 20 units of Botox depends on the concentration of the Botox product used, as each syringe typically contains a specific amount of units. Standard Botox syringes often come in 50-unit vials, so 20 units would be less than half a syringe. Therefore, you would generally use a portion of one syringe to administer 20 units of Botox. Always consult with a qualified injector for precise measurements and administration.
Taking NyQuil after a Botox injection is generally considered safe, but it’s important to consult your healthcare provider for personalized advice. NyQuil contains ingredients that may cause drowsiness, which could make you less aware of any potential side effects from the Botox. Additionally, it's best to avoid any medications that could thin your blood or increase swelling shortly after the procedure. Always follow your doctor's recommendations regarding post-procedure care.

I can't tell you scientifically, but I've taken ampicillin, which has the same, a little bit milder side effects than amoxicillin. and I've also taken cefixime, and cefixime had NO side effects on me whatsoever. and it worked well. ampicillin made me feel mentally confused and tired and darn nauseous. so if you're wondering what to take - i wouldn't give it a thought - would take cefixime over amoxicillin any day, because after all they both work on the same (wide) range of bacteria!
