i got mine pierced yesterday, and im scared of needles and had looked at various videos and read various things but it was nothing that i expected!
when i went in she measure my ear and then sterilised the barbell which i had to wait 20 mins for then when i returned i filled in the concent form and paid which cost me £40. i was told to wait in the waiting room and when i was called i went in the room and was shaking :(. she put dots on my ears to show me where it would go and then put some cotton wool in my ear and put antiseptic/numbing spray on so i couldn't feel it as much then she pierced the top which felt like a pinch but it was bareable, then put some sort of plastic thing through the hole and then sprayed the second bit and pierced that which hurt more but was still bareable taking into consideration that i am scared of needles :( id rate it about 5/10.
ive now had it a day and last night i couldn't sleep because of the throbbing but its what you expect with a piercing. just expect abit of pain with a piercing and afterwards it hurts alot but nothing too unbareable.
if you want it done just go for it, i did and i don't regret it :) good luck.
Piercings done with a piercing gun can hurt for several days after the piercing has been done. Piercings done by a professional body piercer using needles generally only hurt momentarily and off and on (twinges) for 24 hours post piercing.
When I got my second piercing it didn't hurt at all. It just felt like a little pinch. I was scared to get my done, but when I got it done I wasn't scared to get the other. :)
I have personally done this before, i got my right lip piercing re-pierced in the exact same spot and no it doesn't hurt, it feels the same as getting your first lip piercing.
When you get this done it hurts for like 5 mins and then the sting goes away it doesnt really hurt that much but people have different feeling dont they? the pain will be worth it though enjoy with it
All piercings hurt to some degree. For some people it may hurt more than others. Just make sure that you get your piercing done by a professional and they will be sure it gets done right.
Done by a professional body piercer it is quick and simple with a brief short lived pinch in the location of the piercing. Simple and relatively painless.
Getting a piercing done for a second time always hurts more, because the new scar tissue that was used to heal it closed is harder therefor it'll hurt more.
All piercings hurt, you just need to get over it and get it done. Pain is a momentary thing and if you want the piercing then there is nothing to it.
Yes but then all piercings hurt to some extent, you cut or pierce skin it hurts. But if you want the piercing done it's just something you deal with.
When I got mine done it didn't hurt. The clamp pinched, the needle stung, and when they put the ring in it hurt a little but for me, I have a low tolerance for pain, and it hurt less than getting a shot at the doctors
Ya a lot
All piercings hurt for long if done by someone unprofessional. If you get it done at a shop it doesn't hurt much after. If you get one make sure you clean the piercing everyday as well as the hole
