You do not say how recent the burn is and how severe is was. Any burn larger than about an inch in diameter with blistering should be seen by a doctor for treatment. If the burn is recent but not so severe, there will be redness or darkening of the skin which can take some time to disappear. Your skin has been damaged and should be protected from sunlight. Avoid sunlight and wear a sunscreen. Emollient moisturising creams will assist with keeping the skin supple, your local Pharmacy will stock something suitable.
