Yes you can get it repierced however I would suggest a bent barbell or a navel gem this will avoid external irritation and allow the piercing to be done a bit deeper than the first time around.
I wouldn't recomend piercing it right away again. Wait a few days then get it pierced again. When I did mine and the barbell fell out I couldn't get it back in so I had to wait till it was completely healed andpierce it again.
A pierced belly closes quickly if you have not worn a ring consistently for about a year. If the hole closes, it may just be partially closed and it can be "punched" out again easily.
If you don't repierce them. I guarantee it won't happen again.
Depends. Sometimes, piercing scar tissue is more painful but then again, it might not even bother you.
visit your ear piercing salon where you got it pierced and if they can't do anything to help then they will refer you to your GP so visit your doctor and he/she will tell you what to do. Swelling is not uncommon with some piercings, this can be due to the type of piercing and the location of the piercing. Oral piercings around the mouth will swell this is due to the nature of the tissue that was pierced. Eyebrow piercings can swell and even bruise, this is not uncommon again due to the nature of the tissue being pierced. Your aftercare guide should instruct you on how to treat localized swelling for the piercing you have. Ultimately if you are in doubt if the swelling is normal go back and see your piercer.
Usually not but there can be some problems. I had mine 1st pierced 17yrs ago with a ring and with the clothing I had to wear for my job and the type of job it was the piercing went "funny" I had it taken out and waited a year for it to heal fully and had it pierced again and had a twisted ring put in and I've never had any problems since. Check the company or person who is piercing it for you has all the correct qualifications and that they and the area is hygienic.
Well that's up to you, if you liked it have it done by an experianced professional this time who can do the piercing so it will stay. Navel piercing done properly will last for years ( 5~15 ) and is not subject to growing out.
i'd suggest rook or tragus..unless you're not opposed to having a second lobe piercing on each ear
Take it out. I had mine pierced and it ripped out. So unless you want two skin flaps I suggest you take it out. If you want it re-pierced then you can get it done again after it's closed up. :)
Yes, you can get freezing for your lip. but then again it all depends on the piercing artist and location i suppose. I have my lip done and I did get freezing without even asking for it.
You need to see a professional body piercer, they will take the jewellery resterilize it and put it into the piercing using an insertion taper. You will more than likely get the lecture about removing the jewellery before the piercing is completely healed, but I think you knew that would happen.
Usually a week ( 7 days ) or longer (14 days), it is important that the swelling has settled, if not wait a bit longer. If the stud is too short it can damage the piercing if for some reason the piercing swells up again.
