Lip gloss applicators are called just that!
Lip gloss applicators - sometimes they may be called lip wands.
The proper term is exactly what you said: "to apply mascara." As you are putting it on you are "applying mascara," and when you have it on you must have "applied mascara" earlier that day.

To use a lip gloss applicator, you will want to first dip the applicator into the lip gloss. Then take the applicator and rub it on your lips. Repeat this process if necessary.
She invented mascara with a wand type applicator as we know it today. Prior to that, mascara made in a hard cake form which was applied by using a small, wet, toothbrush type brush. Decades after the mascara wand was invented, a tiny toothpaste type tube of mascara was introduced which was squeezed onto the small toothbrush type brush. But it did not do well because women were always left with a dirty brush and often lost the cap to close the tube. Hence today we still use the tube type that Helena Rubenstein invented.
No. There's a chemical called guanine in it. It's an amino acid. It gives the mascara a shimmery appearance, but the guanine in mascara can't be sourced from bat poop, BY LAW.
I am not exactly sure of "expiry dates" for mascara but after a while they do become mucky.I would imagine its because of all the air exposed to it after pulling the applicator in & out. They do advise you to throw out mascara after 3 mths.It does get old & can cause eye infections if your using old mascara.Have you ever noticed your eyes itching after applying it? If so I would toss it & buy new.Best Of Luck! because like anything that has a life, things get old! the constant in and out movement of the wand creates wind that dries the inside of the bottle. to help prolong (just by a little) the lifespan of mascara, move the mascara wound as less as possible whether you are trying to gather mascara onto the wand or simply applying it to your eyes. but this is a good sign for u to get new mascara and something new is always better! :)
No you cant see it thats why its called CLEAR!
They are very small and fit in your hand so when you go to the bathroom to insert it, no one will know you have a tampon. Also you have to pull the applicator stick out until it clicks, then you are ready to go!
