What are some things to be found in a cosmetic bag?

The first thing to put in a makeup bag is the makeup you plan to use on your trip. More than likely, you will need some sponges or other applicators if they are not included with the makeup or if the ones included are inadequate or dirty. You might want a cleanser, and if you bring that, you will need some wipes. Wipes with built-in cleanser would be the best. If you bring a cleanser, you should bring toner as well. If you are a woman with facial hair, you'd want to bring razors and shave lotion. Toner can double as aftershave. You'd also want a comb, a hair brush, hair spray or gel, and possibly nail polish and remover as well as any wipes or napkins needed for the remover. If you have room, you might want to throw in hair supplies like rubber bands, bobby pins, elastics, clips and scrunchies. Adding bangles and earrings won't hurt. It all depends on the size of the makeup bag and what compartments are available.
