Both dior and chanel make great quality clothing and each brand carries out it items with care and precision so the customers will be satisfied with their purchase. Dior has much more celebrity endorsement, and is worn more on the red carpet due to john galliano designing for the massive fashion powerhouse ( John Galliano does great evening dresses) and is more fresh and modern. Chanel is great and is known for its signature tweed jackets and the chanel 2.55 bag, and is more haute couture classic. Plus chanel is designed by Karl Lagerfeld the best designer in the world of all time next to Coco Chanel. But in the end, some chanel things can be ugly, and same as dior. Its just your taste. But chanel basically does the same thing every season, so why not spend your money on something different that won't be repeated somehow later on in other collections. Take a look at some Chanel collections, There all the same colours with feathers and jewels. Its pretty but is the same thing. It also depends on your personality, are you daring with your clothing choices? chanel can be quite popular because it can be very safe at times. Dior is the complete opposite with daring colours, fabrics, prints and designs. Oh and don't forget the crazy, big,very expensive, quality and fun jewellery that dior produces. In my opinion dior is 100% better and more youthful and fun. Who doesn't like to look like a gem and sequin covered rainbow human with a daring taste for clothes?. What you wear can give people a hint of what your personality is like as well.
