What is the function of nail polish?

Finger nail polish is almost like a (flammable) paint which comes in many different assortments of color.

It is probably considered a type of make up or cosmetic. Finger nail polish of course can also be used for your toes but there is no paint called toe nail polish.

This make up is used for decorations, costumes, modeling, outings, and just for fun!

To apply nail polish simply dab the brush in the glass bottle into the paint and apply neatly to your nails in a few strokes.

WARNING: TRY NOT TO BREATH IN, AS IT IS TOXIC! (Don't breath in deeply the nail polish remover or bass, top, gloss, coat either!)

Normally girls wear nailpolish as a symbol of personality. Example: Wearing none is usually a more earthy thing, Pink is girly, Red is bold & sexy, Black is more gothic, Blue is calm or if you love the ocean, etc. Nail polish can also represent favourite colours! Though a lot of people see it as a pretty addition to your look and it can also accessorize an outfit that you just so happen to be wearing. It's not a problem if you're a girl and you don't wear any, but it can be seen as one if you're a boy and wear nail polish.

In general, having nice nails is just another addition to woman-hood as well as shaved armpits, smooth legs, nice eyebrows, long eyelashes and all the stuff we have to take care of in order to be looking sharp!! That's why you may see some woman with their nails with a fresh french manicure. It just shows you take care of how you look or embrace that you're female. Other than what I've listed I don't really see any other point to wearing it. I like to wear nail polish because it's fun to switch around colours and I generally don't like leaving my nails bare. :)
