hypothesis
a hypothesis
The control in an investigation is something that is not changed in an experiment. Lets say you have and experiment were you are applying sunlight to plants to see how much sunlight affects the plant. The Sunlight will be the VARIABLE (what is changed) and if you are using the same type of plant, The plant would be the CONTROL.
A well-tested explanation in science is known as a scientific theory. It is a comprehensive explanation supported by a substantial body of evidence from various experiments and observations. Scientific theories are subject to continuous testing and refinement to ensure they accurately describe and predict natural phenomena.
Scientific method
It is known as Oxidus gracilis in scientific parlance.
The scientific name of the plant commonly known as mother of thousands is Kalanchoe daigremontiana.
A theory
A scientific hypothesis that has been rigorously tested, is then known as a 'theory'.
Does it fit all the known facts AND can it be tested against reality.
This concept is known as falsifiability, a key principle in the philosophy of science proposed by Karl Popper. A hypothesis is considered scientific if it can be tested and potentially disproven through empirical evidence. This criterion helps distinguish scientific theories from those that are untestable or unfalsifiable.
Does it fit all the known facts AND can it be tested against reality.
The first step of the scientific method requires scientists to observe in order to obtain information. The next step is to formulate a hypothesis.
A testable explanation for a question that is based upon previous knowledge is known as a scientific hypothesis. This explanation can then be tested using the scientific method.
A group of ideas parts or pieces that relate to a similar concept is known as a theory. This common in many scientific methods.
A possible explanation or educated guess for a set of observations is known as a hypothesis. It is formulated based on existing knowledge and serves as a starting point for further investigation. A hypothesis can be tested through experimentation and observation to determine its validity. This process is essential in the scientific method, guiding researchers in understanding phenomena.
Is a theory.

I define it as a hypothesis/postulate having the basic characteristics of a scientific thought which are 1) Provability with the existing known truths already proved or established by experimentation 2) Invariance in the concomitant conformal mapping of known/established truths 3) Predictability of a new concept based on the known truth entities when inclusive of that concept. hayagreeva.acharla@gmail.com
