NO. Both contain DNA but they are very different forms. The nucleus contains Eukaryotic DNA while the Mitochondria contains DNA similar to the Prokaryotes. The nucleus is responsible for control of the cell and stores the vast majority of the DNA. The mitochondria's main function is to produce ATP (Adenosine TriPhosphate) which is the energy carrying molecule.

No, Cells and the Nucleus are not the same. Nucleus is the "Control Center" of a cell. It sends messages to the other functions inside a cell...like to the Golgi body for example.

No a nuclie (singular is nucleus) is a part of the cell. It is the control center of the cell and contains all the cells DNA. Hope that helped. :-)
