Yes - if you have taken a course of antibiotics your stomach lining will be stripped of good and bad bacteria and some probiotics or yoghurt containing acidopholus will fix this problem and also there has been some experimenting through the Medical School based at Wellington Hospital in New Zealand giving priobiotics to babies who have one parent with Asthma and seeing if it helps the children not to get asthma. I know a girl who participated in this research and she is 5 now and has no asthma.

It certainly will not hurt. A probiotic simply puts good bacteria into your digestive system which will help digestion and function.
