You may be in a lot of pain for a few days, but it should not persist. I had my tonsils taken out, and it hut for a while. At times you may not be able to talk because your throat hurts so much. In about a week, basically all your pain should go away. Of course, I also had my adnoids taken out, so it might be a little different. Hope this helped!
You need to go to the doctor to get antibiotics. Plenty of water and rest. Get the water in early because your kid will stop eating completely when the pain gets worse. You'll be lucky to feed them jelly, ice cream or ice blocks and sleep is unlikely.
have a lot of pain base of neck top of spine it spreads down my left shoulder
A lot of pain, then death.
first take a knife and cut her stomach the
you will be in a lot of pain I have suffered for years with boils and numerous different doctors do nothing to help except pain killers and antibiotics that help for a week then back to same old agony my advice find a great doctor or suffer the pain
Yes, it hurts a lot but you get to eat a lot of ice cream. You can't talk for days. And it doesn't really help anything unless they're swollen. Everyone used to think that it helped to have your tonsils taken out you wouldn't get any more strep throat, but that was a myth.
Yes! The appearance of one's tonsils can tell a lot about their health. Doctor's check to see if they are swollen and such.
Yes, if it will all fit in your mouth you can.
You can take up to 2 tylenol 3's every 4 hours along with up to 400mg of Advil every 6-8 hours simountaneously for pain relief
Advil I would always go for natural anti-inflammatory. Systemic enzyme therapy has helped me a lot. You can read about it at the link below:
It will hurt a lot. You can have as much ice cream as you want, though.
The tonsils are part of the body's immune system. Because of their location at the throat and palate, they can stop germs entering the body through the mouth or the nose. The tonsils also contain a lot of white blood cells, which are responsible for killing germs.
Sure it does a lot but as long as it doesn't hurt him where he hs a lot of chnces to get pain instantly(just a stroke of your teeth wil cause intense pain)...
The cerebellar tonsils are crowding or pushing down toward the foramen magnum which could be nothing to worry about unless you have a lot of headaches, neck pain, numbness in arms, tingling in hands...could be the cause for that and really, the only thing you can do to stop that IF that's the cause is surgery which isn't 100A% effective.
i have no idea. ask a doctor!
a little but on the bright side you get to eat a lot of ice cream and popsicles.
Well an upper respiratory infection is what it sounds like- an infection of the upper parts of the respiratory system. This is also put simply, the "common cold". It includes symptoms such as stuffy nose, cough, runny nose, congestion, headache, etc. The teeth pain is probably as a result of an ear infection or just pressure in your ear from congestion. A lot of times when people have a lot of head congestion, it compresses nerves which can cause referred pain to body parts that aren't affected. Some nerves in your mouth and ear are close together, so if one is affected, you will have symptoms in the other. Thus, a lot of people who get their tonsils out have severe ear pain. It's that type of thing. Hope that helps!
