Fruits are designed to protect the maturing seeds and help with the dispersal (spreading) of seeds after they have matured. If seeds were not spread over a large area, they would be stunted from the competition with each other. The type of fruit determines whether the seed are scattered by mechanical dispersal or by agent dispersal. Mechanical dispersal occurs when the ripened fruit bursts open and scatters the seeds some distance from the plant. Agent dispersal occurs or in this case birds and many other animals become dispersal agents by feeding on fleshy fruits like blueberries, raspberries, and black berries. Many of the seeds pass throguh an animals's digestive sistem unharmed or are dropped by the animal before being eaten; consequently, the seed may be sccattered far from the parent plant.

What is a seeding agent?

An "agent of dispersal" is a method or mechanism that allows seed to be transported away from the parent plant to a new location where it can germinate. Agents include: wind, water, animals and insects

How do mongo seed disperse?

Mongo seeds are dispersed through various mechanisms such as animals ingesting the fruit and later excreting the seeds, wind dispersal, and human intervention. Once the fruit matures and dries, it naturally splits open, releasing the seeds. The seeds are then carried by the dispersal agent to new locations where they can germinate and grow into new plants.

You used acid-alcohol as the decolorizing agent?

If you used acid-alcohol as the decolorizing agent in spore staining the cells of the bacillus are gram plus. If you use acid alcohol it will not decolorize gram plus cell wall as only gram negative are decolorized. It will not get a differentiation in color.

How do ansul systems work?

An ANSUL system is basically a fixed, wet chemical fire extinguisher. Instead of deploying it's agent through a hose like a portable extinguisher, it does so through fixed pipework that supplies agent to nozzles placed above the appliances, within the plenum and the extract duct system. A basic one tank system is described below. The system normally has an automatic detection system, as well as a manual release mechanism (although electrical ANSUL systems are available, the mechanical systems are more cost effective and more popular). The automatic detection system consists of a steel cable that is always under tension. Within this line, detectors are placed that contain a heat rated fusible link. In the event of a fire and when the link reaches it's critical heat rating, the link seperates, releasing the tension and activates the system. The manual release is also a cabled system, but requires a pulling force to activate the system. Both of these activation systems are wired back to a mechanical activation device known as an Automan unit which contains a mechanical activation unit, a pilot charge (normally nitrogen) in a pressurized cartridge, an agent tank and electrical switches for connection to gas shut-down and/ or in house fire panel. On activation, the mechanical unit releases a "needle" which punctures a foil membrane on the gas cartridge. The gas passes through a regulator and is fed into the agent tank. This forces the agent out of the tank at a controlled rate, through the pipework and to dispersion nozzles placed at the appliances within the kitchen, as well as within the plenum and the extract duct system. The agent cools the fire as well as reacting with hot oils to form a foam blanket, cutting off the air supply to the fire. Additional equipment, such as a regulated release unit, can be used to increase the size of the system and allow for additional tanks to be added to the system, based upon strict design calculations for the size of the appliance line(s) and the type of appliances.

Name the fruit bearing plants and the agent through which seeds are dispersed and part or seed which is dispersal?

Apple tree (Malus domestica) - agent: animals; dispersal: seeds encased in fruit. Maple tree (Acer spp.) - agent: wind; dispersal: seeds attached to a propeller-like structure. Coconut palm tree (Cocos nucifera) - agent: water; dispersal: seeds enclosed in a buoyant husk.
