Yes they CAN grow but that does not mean they always will because different bird seed brands do different things with bird seeds witch can cause them not to grow.

Bird seed is typically a mix of small seeds like millet, sunflower, and corn that are meant to feed birds rather than grow plants. These seeds may not necessarily produce viable plants if planted in soil, as they are often processed to be easily digestible by birds. To grow plants, it is best to use seeds specifically intended for gardening.

What is the difference between plant propagation and seed germination?

Plant propagation involves creating new plants from existing ones through methods like cuttings, grafting, or division. Seed germination specifically refers to the process in which a seed begins to sprout and grow into a new plant. While both involve creating new plants, plant propagation is a broader term that encompasses various methods beyond seed germination.

Why do seeds need to grow?

I don't know why a seed would need a seed to grow. it is a seed! a seed does need water, oxygen (it will only need the carbon dioxide from the oxygen to give us the waste which is oxygen so we can breath), and only the amount o sunlight it needs to make sugar. so it doesn't need a seed because it's a seed!

Is chloroplast a seedless plant a seed plant or both?

Chloroplasts are not plants, but rather organelles found in plant cells that are responsible for photosynthesis. Seedless plants, like ferns and mosses, reproduce via spores, while seed plants reproduce via seeds. Chloroplasts are found in both seedless and seed plants, as they are essential for the process of photosynthesis.

How do you grow kenaf plants?

Kenaf plants can be grown from seed in well-drained soil with plenty of sunlight. Plant the seeds about 1/2 inch deep and space them out 6-12 inches apart. Water regularly, especially during dry periods, and provide support for the plants as they grow tall. Harvest kenaf when the plants are mature and the fibers are ready for processing.
