Best Answer

heat is just the transfer of energy from a point of high temperature to a point of lower temperature

ex. if a sidewalk is hotter than your foot and you step on it, some of the heat from the sidewalk will be transferred into your foot until both the sidewalk and your foot are the same temperature

Not sure what you mean by cells. If you mean in the traditional, biological, plants and animals sense, then no. Burning candles are just wax, a wick, and a flame. The burning wax gives off water and carbon dioxide as it is burned.

No, flames do mot have cells. The reason i say that is because a flame is not a living thing. Flames can move, grow larger, and give off heat but they don't live or have cells.

None, it is not made out of cells. All it is is atoms getting "excited" and are moving faster releasing light energy.

What is the main difference between fire and respiration?

Aerobic respiration occur in living cells but fire does not occur in a cell. A fire activity occur in an open environment and does not require a material medium but aerobic respiration require a closed system which is usually the living cells to occur.

It depends. Are you hungry? Nerves won't tell you that. Is your hand on fire? In this case, you might consider nerve cells to be better at signalling.

Why is sugar non living?

fire does not have cells, which is the first sign of a living organism. Trees and animals have cells, even living bacterias. Although fire needs oxygen to burn, it doesn't mean it is living. An Example of this is a tree which produces oxygen using both oxygen and carbon dioxide. A fire can show qualities of an animal as they too use oxygen and produce carbon dioxide, fire does the same. But it still has no body to support a structured cell system. It is merely a natural occurance that is produced by burning of oxygens in the air, dead cells of trees.

Why Fire is not considered life even though it grows and uses oxygen?

Even though fire grows and uses oxygen, it is not considered a life form because it is missing some key elements. Fire has neither DNA or RNA, and it doesn't contain any cells. Fire also lacks metabolism and the ability to reproduce.
