I'm sure there ways to regain spinal fluid, as my sister just had a baby and had to have 4 epidurals not knowing she has bad scoliosis. After the baby was born she had intense pain and pressure on her brain, come to find out the doctors told her she was leaking spinal fluid from the epidural holes. So the doctors decided to give her a blood patch which is where they took blood from her hand and injected it into the spine making a fifth whole to clot/stop the leak. They sent her home a day after telling her to stay flat and in bed. they told her she would have mild headache and Back pain for the next two weeks as she recovers. Well, yesterday she collapsed at the doctors and had to be rushed for another blood patch making a sixth hole in her back. the doctor performing the procedure said he didnt understand why she was still leaking, but advised that if it continues or worsesens she will have to have spinal surgery to find and stop the leak within her body or she can have nerve damage, loss of sight. He sent her home on a Mountain due diet. The sugar and caffeine he said is supposed to help rebuild spinal fluid. we are praying this works!
