This system runs as tube from your mouth to the anus. It is actually considered to be outside since it has no direct connection to your inside. Food and enzymes go in to it and waste go out. If you has physical damage to it, trillions of bacteria could be released inside.

crap tunnel... no I'm just joking, its actually called the digestive system. You see there are so many different organs from mouth to anus that there is not one single name for it, but a system (group of organs working together for the same purpose).
You should consider if inside of the digestive tract is made up of cells. organs or systems that have hollow tube such as mouth, respiratory tract, digestive system, and GI tract are considered external environment because it is connected to outside. You can think of more examples of the external environment in the body.
The Esophagus
The digestive system is really just a tube that begins at your mouth and ends at the rectum. Most of it is filled with bacteria compared to the other parts of your body which are usually sterile with no bacteria.
The system that the esophagus belongs to is the Digestive System. This system is also referred to as the Alimentary Canal.
