Photosynthesis takes the energy from sunlight and uses it to put together large sugar molecules from the raw ingredients CO2 and H2O.

The products and reactants of photosynthesis and cellular respiration are opposites. That is, without one the other cannot continue. The reactants of cellular respiration, glucose and oxygen, are the products of photosynthesis, and the reactants of photosynthesis, water, carbon dioxide and energy, are the products of cellular respiration.

Does DNA replicate in cellular respiration or photosynthesis?

There is no replication of the DNA in cellular respiration or photosynthesis. In cellular respiration, you have biological oxidation of the glucose molecule. In case of the photosynthesis you have the reverse process that takes place.

How is aerobic respiration similar to photosynthesis?

Cellular respiration and photosynthesis are inverse reactions. This means that the reactants of respiration are the products of photosynthesis and the reactants of photosynthesis are the products of cellular respiration. In addition, both metabolic pathways are processes that provide energy to the cell.

How are the products of photosynthesis related to cell respiration?

it is related to photosynthesis because of the products glucose and oxygen are used to start cell respiration. Glucose and oxygen carry it out to produce energy.plants also go through cell respiration

What is the major similarity and difference between cellular respiration and respiration and photosynthesis?

That it have cell

Which cell produces glucose during photosynthesis?

Plant Cell.

Where do photosynthesis and cellular respiration occur in cell?

Photosynthesis occurs in chloroplast.Respiration occurs in mitochondria.

Compare and contrast the functions of photosynthesis and respiration. Explain the relationship between the processes.?

photosynthesis and respiration are linked because they both involve the exchange of the gases; oxygen and carbon dioxide.

Where do photosynthesis and cellular respiration each take place in the cell?

Photosynthesis-chloroplast. C.R.-mitochondria

Where do cellular respiration and photosynthesis take place in each cell?

Photosynthesis-chloroplast. C.R.-mitochondria

What does a cell need for photosynthesis?

A cell needs the products of cellular respiration, which is water and oxygen.

What organelle is needed to break down the glucose in cell respiration?
