Sex drive and a low sperm count are not necessarily associated, one can have a normal sperm count & low sex drive & vice versa.

It would be VERY UNUSUAL for an 18 year old to suffer from either of these. High sex drive is the norm by the time a boy is 18.

If there is no sex drive, If there is no or only a slight ability to achieve or maintain an erection, in an 18 year old that could be a symptom of other problems. A good Urologist can do a physical exam & run a blood test to see what the, Testosterone levels are and have a test run on his ejaculate to get a good sperm count & check for reproductive health.

Difference between male and female sperm?

Although only males produce sperm, that does not mean that all sperm is male. There are two types of sperm: male and female. Male sperm carry the 'y' chromosome; female sperm carry the 'x' chromosome. If all sperm where male, then there would be no females born. Thus, the difference between male and female sperm is that male sperm carries the 'y' chromosome and produces male offspring and female sperm carries the 'x' chromosome and produces female offspring.
