A person's voice usually cracks from their throat being dry. Drinking plenty of fluids will help keep the throat lubricated to help prevent the voice from cracking.
Voice cracking during puberty is caused by the rapid growth of the larynx (voice box) and vocal cords. As the vocal cords lengthen and thicken, they vibrate at different frequencies, leading to fluctuations in pitch and tone. This process can result in temporary voice breaks or cracks until the vocal cords stabilize.
Ever so often I feel a need for my tailbone to feel relief. It usually has pressure on it, so if I lay down or squeeze myself together, my tailbone will make a cracking noise. It is so loud that others can hear it. I can feel it and hear it making a cracking noise, but I feel no pain. Then, once my tailbone is done with the cracking sound, it won't do it for a while until I feel the need to get relief from my tailbone again. If I ignore the need to get relief, I have extreme pain and it feels like my tailbone must be locked. If I try to lay down or squeeze myself together while my tailbone hurts, it won't budge. When I feel this pain, it tends to take days before the pain is actually gone. Please, if you know of anything that could help me, I would really appreciate it because I know it's not normal. Thanks so much!
just dont crack ur bones.... (separate from previous answer)...experts believe the habit of cracking ones bones is more psychological then physical. Its literally all in your head. Trust me if don't think about it you will notice gradually that you have totally forgotten about cracking your bones. Next time when the "urge" to crack your bones arises, ignore it ( i understand how tempting it can be i had the same problem, but slowly i have stopped) ignore it by focusing on something you like, go watch tv or something that you like doing. Like all bad habits, its in your head, if you believe that you will not crack your bones, then you wil not crack your bones... good luck :)
Your mother probably said that it was, but actually cracking your elbows doesn't lead to arthritis or future pains, it actually relaxes tendons and muscles. The skin tissue can become destroyed if you stretch the actual tissue, but cracking the bone is actually just the release of a liquid escaping through stretched open cavities in your bones as a bubble, then popped.
Cracking your knuckles releases the nitrogen from in between your joints.

Honey will work in a pinch, but if you over use it, or put too much strain on your voice you can permanently damage it. So use wisely. And that's true with any remedy you use.
Voice cracking typically occurs during puberty as a result of changes in the vocal cords. For most boys, this process can begin around ages 11 to 14 and may last for a few months to a couple of years. Girls generally experience less noticeable voice changes, often around ages 10 to 12. By the end of adolescence, most individuals will have a more stable and mature voice.
