My tumor was about the size of a plum. It was removed under general anasthesia in an ambulatory o/r. I went home 5 hours after surgery with a drain. I returned to see my doctor the next day for the staples and drain to be removed. It has been 11 days since my procedure and I have only taken 2 regular strength tylonol on one occasion. I am experiencing facial skin numbness by the incision and hope it will return. I have no facial paralysis (thank god) and my tumor is benign. My ear is also numb.
I had a graph done (bottom right) 11 weeks ago. I will go in the two implants next year. I still have numbness in my lip and most of my chin. I'm not sure if this is normal...sure wish I had feeling.

My foot became temporarily numb from sitting on it for too long.
Numbness after ironing can be caused by holding the hand in a certain position for too long. To prevent numbness take breaks when ironing and do hand stretches.
