Well because if you didn't have fruits one of the reasons would be because we wouldn't get as much vitamins and minerals from fruits, that is what your teacher would want you too say.
I hope this helps! :-)
A ripened ovary that is commonly eaten is a fruit. Fruits develop from the ovary of a flower and are the mature ovary walls along with the seeds. Examples of fruits include apples, grapes, and tomatoes.
A fruit is literally the enlarged ovary of a plant. The ovary is an organ in female or bisexual flowers where the egg cell(s) is(are) stored and fertilized by the sperm in the pollen that finds its way to the flower. When the egg is fertilized it grows into a seed and the ovary around the seed grows into a form that provides protection and transporation for the seeds. There are a lot of different kinds of fruits, too, that you might not realize are fruits. You should try searching "fruit types" in google images to get an idea of all the different ways fruits can grow.
Two different types of fruits are citrus fruits (e.g. oranges, lemons) and berries (e.g. strawberries, blueberries).
Fruits develop from the ovaries of flowers on certain plants. After fertilization, the ovary swells and ripens into a fruit, which typically encases seeds for dispersal. Fruits serve as a means of protecting and aiding in the dispersal of seeds for plant reproduction.
Angiosperms produce flowers, which contain reproductive structures called ovaries that develop into fruits containing seeds. Fruits serve as a means of seed dispersal by attracting animals to eat and spread the seeds.
After pollination, fertilization takes place. then the ovaries grow into fruits and ovules grow into seeds. That Is All.
The ovaries are the fruits.
Fruits that consist of ripened ovaries alone, such as the tomato and pea pod, are called true fruits.Fruits that consist of ripened ovaries and other parts such as the receptacle or bracts, as in the apple, are called accessory fruits or false fruits.

They are fleshy fruits(apples grapes etc.), Dry fruits, and Aggregate fruits
Fruits are the ovaries of flowering plants, and the means by which flowering plants disseminate seeds. Many fruits have developed to propagate by having animals eat them and then deposit the seeds far from the original plant. Humans and many animals depend on fruits as a source of food. Technically, fruit includes bean pods, nuts, seeds, and cereal grains, but for culinary purposes, fruits are eaten for their flesh.
All fruits are the ripened ovaries of the plant.
Yes, some plant ovaries are consumed by people. Fruits like apples, tomatoes, and peppers are examples of plant ovaries that are commonly eaten.
The ovary is the part of plant that becomes the fruit
Female banana flowers are the part of the banana plant that eventually develop into fruit. They are usually larger and more rounded than the male flowers, with small, unfertilized fruits inside that will eventually grow and develop into bananas. The female flowers contain ovaries that, when fertilized, will produce seeds and fully developed fruit.
Multiple fruits are formed from the ovaries of multiple flowers that are closely clustered together. A common example is the pineapple, which develops from the fusion of individual berries from many flowers. Other examples include figs and mulberries, where the fruit results from the collective ovaries of multiple flowers. These fruits often develop a single, larger structure that is typically consumed as a whole.
Im not sure if this is what you need, but i do know that the fruits of a plant/tree are the ovaries of the plant/tree where the seeds are contained. :) hope this helps
