I am a mirror twin myself. And the did research about schizofrenic twins, which seems to be very common in mirrored twins (the left handed one). So they needed healthy twins like me. And what they found out was through brainscans that my brain halves have oposite dominance and activity then normal human beings. That means, logic is on the right side, and creativity on the left. Also my eyes are connected to the right active brain half, that means left eye to the left, and right the right. In normal people it's crossed. Next to that I am left handed, and can read and write backwards, or think backwards very easily. For me it's easy to see the world totally the opposite way, and that's a nice gift in the creative field. There is a lot of research about twins in Utrecht CMU hospital in the Netherlands.
The term for mirror image organs in the body is "situs inversus." This condition occurs when the positions of organs are reversed from their typical placement. It is a rare but generally benign anatomical variation.
Hello there...I myself am a mirror twin and I can tell you that mirror twins have been mostly known for having opposite dominating functions like one twin is left arm dominate and the other is right armed dominate twin.My sister and I are even known for loosing the same tooth on an opposite side; however, our organs etc are normal. Some mirror twins vary though.I don't know if mirror twins can be together a male and female.
The opposite of postganglionic is preganglionic. Preganglionic neurons are responsible for carrying nerve impulses from the central nervous system to ganglia, while postganglionic neurons transmit nerve impulses from ganglia to target organs.
Organs. Organs are composed of different types of tissues that work together to perform specific functions within the body. Examples include the heart, lungs, and liver.
Some organs that are paired in the human body include the kidneys, lungs, ovaries, testes, and adrenal glands. Each of these organs has a counterpart on the opposite side of the body and they usually work together to perform their specific functions.
