Hello there...I myself am a mirror twin and I can tell you that mirror twins have been mostly known for having opposite dominating functions like one twin is left arm dominate and the other is right armed dominate twin.My sister and I are even known for loosing the same tooth on an opposite side; however, our organs etc are normal. Some mirror twins vary though.I don't know if mirror twins can be together a male and female.

I have a mirror twin her organs are on the opposite side of her body what is that referred to clinically?

I am a mirror twin myself. And the did research about schizofrenic twins, which seems to be very common in mirrored twins (the left handed one). So they needed healthy twins like me. And what they found out was through brainscans that my brain halves have oposite dominance and activity then normal human beings. That means, logic is on the right side, and creativity on the left. Also my eyes are connected to the right active brain half, that means left eye to the left, and right the right. In normal people it's crossed. Next to that I am left handed, and can read and write backwards, or think backwards very easily. For me it's easy to see the world totally the opposite way, and that's a nice gift in the creative field. There is a lot of research about twins in Utrecht CMU hospital in the Netherlands.

What are simese twins?

Conjoined twins are identical twins who are born physically connected to each other. They may be joined at various parts of their bodies, such as the head, chest, or abdomen. Conjoined twins occur when a fertilized egg fails to completely separate during early development.

What occurs when there is a failure in the separation process of identical twins before the thirteenth day after fertilization?

If there is a failure in the separation process of identical twins before the thirteenth day after fertilization, it can result in conjoined twins. Conjoined twins occur when the developing embryos do not fully separate and remain connected, sharing certain organs or body parts.

Where do twins come from, the mother or the father?

Twins come from the mother, as it is the mother's body that releases the eggs that can be fertilized by the father's sperm to create twins.

What is a mirror image?

If you are mirror image twins it means that you are also identical twins. Mirror image twins are created when the fertilised egg splits quite late (around days 9-12), any later and twins can be co-joined.Mirror image twins have small mirror image differences but are actually genetically identical; this means you have the exact same DNA!Some parts of the body are commonly mirrored; mirroring of appendix or heart or other internal organs is rare. We have some examples of our own mirroring:We are opposite handed (Tash is left-handed and I am right)We tend to have mirror image dental problemsPeople often have two different size feet; with us the opposite foot is largerWe look very similar to each other but the resemblance is even stronger if we stand facing each other (as though in a mirror) rather than side by side. Or get both of us facing into a mirror and things start to look very confusing. Our finger prints don't seem to conform to being mirror image - instead they are nearly identical (only one pair of fingers has any major difference)However enviromentally things can make an overall change to the behaviour of mirror image twins however not much will likely change genetically.Thank You Twins Realm for the Supporting Information above.

What is the opposite of flexion?

The opposite of flexion is extension. Flexion refers to the bending of a joint, typically decreasing the angle between two body parts, while extension is the straightening of a joint, usually increasing the angle between two body parts.

What are facts about brains?

It's in our heads and one of the most important organs in the body. It has two hemispheres, and they tend to control opposite parts of the body.

What is the return from flexion?

The return from flexion refers to the movement in a joint that brings two body parts closer together. It is the opposite of extension, which moves the body parts farther apart. Flexion typically involves a decrease in the angle between the two body parts at the joint.

How do you separate fraternal twins?

Fraternal twins do not need to be separated-- Siamese or Conjoined twins do. Because fraternal twins come from two eggs, they would never have a conjoined twin condition. Conjoined twins occur when an egg divides during the early embryonic stage, but fails to divide completely, resulting in shared body parts and organs.
