Cytokinesis in plants involves the formation of a '''cell plate''' (also known as a furrow). The cell plate become the cell walls of the two daughter cells after these cells split.
cleavage furrow
Each part of the pinched off cytoplasm contains its own nucleus and cytoplasmic organelles.
The cell membrane creates a cleavage furrow in animal cells, pinching the original (mother) cell in to two pieces. New cell walls are constructed at the midline of the original cell in plant cells.

Cytokinesis in plants takes place by cell plate formation whereas in animal cells it is by furrowing.
In plants cytokinesis occurs by the formation of cell plate which takes place by centrifugal method while in animals it occurs by the formation of cleavage furrow which takes place by centripetal method.
Cytokinesis in animal cells take place by furrowing where as in plant cells it is by cell plate formation. Centrioles are visible in animal cell during spindle formation where as these are not seen in plant cells. The dividing plant cells generally have cell wall where as in animals, cell wall is absent.
Plant cells form a cell plate between the two new nuclei during cytokinesis. The cell plate form the cell walls for the two new plant cells. The cell plate formation takes place in plant cells during cytokinesis from the material received from Golgi bodies.
Cell plate formation
Yes.
Cytokinesis can take place in a number of ways. In most animal cells, the cell membrane is drawn inward until the cytoplasm is pinched into 2 equal parts. Each part contains it's own nucleus and cytoplasmic organelles. However, in plants, a strucutre known as the cell plate forms midway between the divided nuclei. The cell plate gradually develops into a separating membrane.

Formation of two haploid cells
Cytokinesis represents the formation of two daughter Cells as the final step of the Cell cycle. The only appreciable difference is the 'afterwards' formation of the Plant Cell Wall.
