The control of an experiment is the part of an experiment that does not change, and is strictly used as a comparison to the variable that is being tested.
the control is what you don't change in the experiment.
Example: if i poured water on certain tapes (like Duct Tape and scotch tape) to see which one was the stickiest. My control would be how much water I poured on the tape. there can be more than one control and in this example the other two controls would be the length and the width of the tape.

∙ 12y agoThe control in scientific research is the group or condition that remains unchanged to serve as a basis for comparison with the experimental group. It allows researchers to identify any changes or effects that are due to the variables being tested. Having a control helps ensure that any observed outcomes are truly a result of the experimental manipulation.

∙ 12y agoThe control in a science project is the subject that is left with nothing changing, for instance, if you were wanting to test the effectiveness of a fertilizer on a plant, you would need two plants, one that was treated and one that was not. The second plant would be the control because of the fact that you did not change it.

∙ 12y agoThe control group in a scientific method is something you know the outcome. Most control groups in the scientific method are groups that the scientists know the outcome of without fault. This is so you can compare the two.

∙ 15y agoBasically, we are dealing with controlled variables.
For example if you where to do an experiment on plants, you would make sure they get the same Quantitative and Qualitative values of water etc...

∙ 6y agoA controlled variable is something that is kept the same in an experiment. But in many experiments you might also need a control.
Imposing strict regulations on research funding and conducting field trials could limit scientific research in genetic modification of food.
The majority of scientific research in the US is funded by federal government agencies like the National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Science Foundation (NSF), and Department of Defense (DOD). Additionally, private foundations, industry-sponsored research, and philanthropic donations also contribute to funding scientific research.
The term for a complex explanation of phenomena based on findings from scientific research is a theory. Scientific theories are well-supported explanations that encompass a wide range of observations, experiments, and data.
Scientific research helps us better understand environmental resources such as air, water, soil, and biodiversity. By studying these resources, scientists can identify threats and develop solutions to protect and sustainably manage them. Scientific research is essential for informing policies and practices that aim to conserve and protect our environment for future generations.
Implementing strict regulations and bans on research would most likely limit scientific research on genetic modification of humans. Additionally, ethical concerns, public backlash, and funding limitations could also hinder research in this field.

Explain how a research becomes a scientific knowledge
Research is characterized by - systematic, objective, reproducible, relevance and control. Scientific exeperiments will create situation so that you as a reasearcher can obtain the particular data needed and can measure the data accurately. Research important areas include marketing, production, banking, materials, human resource development and government.
A scientific journal is a periodical publication that presents research findings, scientific discussions, and reviews within a specific academic discipline. It serves as a platform for scientists and researchers to share their work with the scientific community, undergo peer review for quality control, and disseminate new knowledge to a wider audience.
Scientific Research Institute of Nutrition was created in 1930.
Scientific research into the operation of the criminal justice system was encouraged by the 1967 President's Commission on Law Enforcement and Administration of Justice, which influenced passage of the Safe Streets and Crime Control Act of 1968.
