Yes that is what we used growing up. You just put one SMALL drop on the sore and it will clear up within a day or so. The liquid stains though so be very careful. Quickly wipe up any spills with a tissue. If it spreads (too much applied) wipe away the excess. After applying wait a couple of seconds for it to dry and then you can rinse your mouth with water. As long it got on and dried a bit, the medicine will do its job.
