That depends on what you mean by lethal. If you mean e.g. the gene for Huntington's disease than this is because the carrier is likely to pass on their genes before death as it only manifests later on in life. Unless the gene causes the carrier to die before they reproduce - it will stay in the gene pool. Would you kill someone because they had a genetic disorder or not let them reproduce?
RSV stands for respiratory syncytial virus, the most frequent cause of serious respiratory tract infections in infants and children younger than 4 years of age. RSV causes nasal stuffiness and discharge, cough, and sometimes ear infections.
Inheriting kidney disease is commonly referred to as familial or genetic kidney disease. This means the condition is passed down through generations due to inherited genetic mutations.
Genotyping is important for understanding genetic variations and their impact on health and disease because it allows researchers to identify specific genetic markers associated with certain conditions. By analyzing an individual's genetic makeup, genotyping can help predict disease risk, personalize treatment plans, and advance precision medicine efforts.
Familial Amyloid Polyneuropathy (FAN) or Corino de Andrade's disease, a form of Paramyloidosis, is a neurodegenerative autosomal dominant genetically transmitted disease, first identified and described by Portuguese neurologist Mário Corino da Costa Andrade, in the 1950s. It is a fatal and incurable disease. <><><><> In addition, Huntington's Disease and Sickle Cell Anemia are both genetically transmitted ailments.
yes. you are going to die!
no but as I see it treatment of genetic disease is treating a genetic problem as a genetic treatment of a disease is using genetics to stop a certain disease that can be treated with genetics
Chickenpox is an infectious disease, not a genetic disease
A genetic disease is a disease that was either passed onto you and/or your family is known to get that disease. An example of a genetic disease would be CF (Cystic Fibrosis). It occurs when a cell changes it's genetic information.

Known as Hansen's Disease, it is not genetic, but caused by an organism.
RSV Würges was created in 1920.
RSV Weyer was created in 1918.
Depends on the disease. With some, the genetic condition that causes the disease has been identified, and genetic testing can determine if you have the disease before symptoms appear.

one genetic disease is sickle cell disease. another is thallasemia.
