∙ 12y agoIn this experiment the beginning plants would all need to be the same size and the water would be the variable (put different amounts of water into each plant) the size of the plant would be a result.

It is used to measure and record your observation.
In order to determine how much algae weighs, the amount of algae being weighed is needed. The more algae, the more it will weigh.
He needed a control group. *Apex*
A control group is subjected to the same procedures as the experimental group but does not receive the treatment of the independent variable. In the control group all variables are held constant. It is used as a baseline measure. This helps determine whether any of the resulting effects of the experimental group are due to the independent variable treatment and not to the actions involved in providing the treatment.

It is a conclusion,variable,a hypothesis,procedure,and data.
A control is needed in a valid experiment because without controls then more then one variable is being tested. This can mess up the results.
Yes 99.99% of the time, controls are very necessasry. If you are performing an experiment testing some variable, say (X) , you need to perform a control where everything is the same as the experiment conditions including your (X) variable your testing in the experiment. Therefore, the only difference between your control and your experiment is the variable your testing.Since the variable in your control is kept constant, you can compare the result so the experiment (where the variable was varied) and your control (where the variable was kept constant).Since all other factors in both the control and experiment were the same, you can compare your results

A continuous variable which is made discrete when recorded.
The Cartesian Diver is actually a scientific experiment. It helps divers determine what amount of air is needed for descent and ascent so that neither is done too quickly which can cause death.
An independent variable is a variable that you can control, you can choose and manipulate this variable. An example is an experiment looking at the growth of trees in the Dark, in a dimly lit room and in the direct sun. So you are going to put one plant in the sun, one in the dark and another in a dimly lit room. The independent variable is the location of the experiment, because this is what is being changed. The dependent variable may be the type of the plants and the height of the plants to begin with, The results on which is determined by the independent variable (ie amount of sunlight on the plants) So basically, without the independent variable you cannot really measure the full extent of the results. Uhm, I hope that makes sense, haha.
A sample size is needed whenever you conduct an experiment. How you determine an adequate sample size depends on the scope of what you're testing, such as medications.
A scout titration is used to determine the approximate amount of titrant needed.
What equipment was needed for this experiment
Actually an experiment, a controlled demonstration, is needed to determine the Actualities of such a complex Conjecture.
