The theory is true. Darwin suggested it via Natural Selection. In other words, there is such a thing as the theory of evolution. The questioner presumably wants to know Is evolution possible? and Is there evidence for evolution? and How robust is evolution as a theory?
There is evidence for evolution from great realms of science. The fossil record shows thousands of Pre-Holocene species (trilobites, coelurosaurs, condylarths and many other extraordinary creatures) and many transitions (Ichthostega, Ambulocetues and Australopithecus for example). Comparative genetics shows that birds and crocodiles are closely related and lizards and snakes are closely related, exactly as what should be hypothesised from a branching tree of evolving life. Biogeography explains why all marsupials exist only in South America and Australia (South America and Australia were joined as Gondwana before splitting apart into their present continents and separating the ancestors of oppossums and Australian marsupials forever), and Natural Selection explains why things look the way they do (polar bears would not survive in Arctica without a white, thick coat and marine mammals would not survive without flippers) and comparative anatomy shows that all have a common ancestor (whales share a common ancestor with cats and bats and beavers and all mammals as seen by the identity of the bones in the limbs).
One illustration for each of the realms of evidence is hardly good enough. Do research (anywhere, among animals and plants and bacteria and protists) and there should be abounding evidence for evolution everywhere.
Evolution is not a fake. Yes, Piltdown Man was fake, but Australopithecus is not and nor are the many Homospecies in the fossil record. There are multitudinous and multifarious evidences (see above) for evolution. Darwin published On the Origin of Species in 1859. Once science woke up to it, I don't think it looked back since.
Darwin's theory of evolution is very well supported by scientific evidence. It has been accepted as true, by most biologists. Some controversy does remain, however, on religious grounds. Whether you choose to accept this theory is up to you.
We don't use the word "true" to describe scientific theories. They either fit the facts or they do not. Darwin's theory of evolution fits most of the observed facts, and does so beautifully. A theory is useful if it makes successful predictions. Darwin's theory has absolutely zero to do with belief in God. The Catholic Church does not hate God, yet endorses the view that evolution has occurred in much the way Charles Darwin described. Is there a scientific theory that better explains the evidence from paleontology, geology, anatomy, and molecular biology? No. Therefore, we provisionally accept the theory of evolution as an accurate depiction of the origin of species. Again, this has nothing to do with whether or not God exists and/or loves you. Evolution is wrong. God is true.
Yes, and no. Yes, back then it was the most accurate possible assessment of the data available at the time. But evolutionary theory today is much different from the model that Darwin first proposed. For one thing, evolutionary theory now includes modern knowledge of genetics. For another, we no longer believe, like Darwin did, that evolution is uniformly gradual.
I can provide a summary or explanation of the theory of evolution. Is there a specific aspect of the theory you would like me to cover?
In order for the theory of evolution to hold true within a population, there must be genetic variation among individuals, a mechanism for inheritance of traits from parents to offspring, and differential survival and reproduction based on these inherited traits. These conditions allow for natural selection to occur, driving the process of evolution within a population over time.
True. That is the definition of evolution.
Since it was still a theory, there are still no comcrete facts that it is true.
Yes. If evolution was not widely supported by evidence, then it would be regarded as a hypothesis rather than a theory.
When the evolutionary theory was first proposed, people didn't believe it. Often, religion and evolution contradict themselves and even today, there are many people who favor creationism over evolution.

Perfectly true. He was a botanist not an inventor. He, with Russell, set forward a theory of why evolution occurs.Evolution is an accepted fact how and why it occurs is subject to theory.
Theory of evolution refers to animals and plants evolution along the time. Language evolution is another issue, not entirely related to the theory of evolution. It follows the theory of evolution on some way but it is related to culture evolution, not to the physical attributes evolution.

The best way to respond to this is to explain that there is the fact of evolution and the theory of evolution. Evolution is defined as genetic change within a population. This is an easily observable fact both in nature and the laboratory. The theory of evolution is an explanation for the diversity of life on earth based on the observable facts that evolution does indeed occur. It is exactly the same situation with gravity. Gravity is a fact, an easily observed physical phenomenon. But there is also a Theory of Gravitation, an explanation for the phenomenon itself and how it works. That there is a theory for both evolution and gravity does not mean the facts of evolution and gravity are any less true.
Evolution is an observed and observable fact. The theory of evolution by natural selection explains many things about evolution. The theory generates testable hypothesis, as any good theory does. Remember, theory is the highest concept in science.
Because it is a fact that allele frequencies change over time in populations of organisms. And the theory of evolution by natural selection explains much of the fact of evolution very well.
