All Prokaryotes are single celled organisms. Their DNA floats around in the cytoplasm. They do not have any membrane bound organelles.

There are some Eukaryotic organism that are single celled. Eukaryotes have membrane bound organelles. Single celled Eukaryotes are called Protozoa. Some protozoans are amoebas and protists.
