Difference between organic and inorganic substances?

In general organic compounds / substances / materials contain carbon atoms bonded with other atoms and/or those related to life. It is the chemistry of carbon containing compounds. Inorganic is everything else and generally do not contain carbon (with some exceptions).

What is responsible for bone structure?

An organic molecule is a molecule which contains the element carbon. An inorganic molecule is the opposite. Almost all of the molecules that are inside the human body would be classified as organic molecules.

What ways are protein molecules similar to polysaccharides?

polysachharides are wood plastic is plastic

How is ATP like and unlike nucleic acids?

Nucleic acids are a braod category of compounds. Chemically at least, adenosine triphosphate (ATP) contains a adenine ring, a ribose sugar and 3 phosphate molecules. A nucleic acid is composed of a nitrogenous base (purine or pyrimidine), a pentose sugar and a phosphate group. Since adenine, which is itself a purine, can be found in some nucleic acids, the similarities would be the possibility of both containing adenine, both contain a sugar molecule and both contain phosphate molecules. The numbers they each contain would be the difference.

Molecules A and B are both organic molecules found in many cells when tested it is found that molecule A cannot pass through a cell membrane but molecule B easily passes through state one way the two?

The molecules differ in size. B must be smaller than A because it can diffuse through the semipermeable cell membrane.

All organic molecules contain carbon and hydrogen.

Why carbon dioxide is not an organic compound?

Organic compounds contain a carbon atom covalently bonded to a hydrogen. Carbon dioxide is very important in organic chemistry and carbon chemistry in general, but it is not organic because it contains only carbon and oxygen ... no hydrogen.

hydrogen

Is vitamin D organic or inorganic?

It's arbitrary (and some chemicals are classed as both);but in general organic contains carbon molecules and/or those related to life. It is the chemistry of carbon containing compounds.Inorganic is everything else and generally do not contain carbon (with some exceptions).

How are organic and inorganic molecules alike?

they are both composed of atoms.
