The mesentary
The abdominal organs are the organs that are located in the stomach. The stomach is one of the abdominal organs. Abdominal organs are those organs located in the torso not protected by the rib cage. Other organs between the ribs and the pelvis are the liver, pancreas, large and small intestine, and the gall bladder. The kidneys may or may not be included because their position is dorsal and protected by the pelvic ridge.
The abdominal cavity is the space within the abdomen that houses organs such as the stomach, liver, intestines, and kidneys. It is lined by a membrane called the peritoneum and is protected by the abdominal muscles. The abdominal cavity plays a crucial role in digestion and overall body function.
The small intestine is located in the abdominal cavity which is below the diaphragm and on the ventral part of the body.
The large muscle at the top of the thigh that covers the hip joint in the posterior is called the gluteus maximus.
The large intestine belongs to the abdominal cavity. It is located in the lower part of the abdominal cavity, where it mainly functions to absorb water and salts from undigested food and to eliminate waste from the body.
The mesentery that surrounds the large intestines is called the mesocolon. It provides support and attaches the large intestines to the posterior abdominal wall.
Intestines
The abdominal cavity.
It belong to the abdominal quadrant. The abdominal quadrant also includes the pancreas, large and small intestines etc..
The abdominal cavity contains the stomach, intestines, spleen, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas.
The digestive organs that occupy a large portion of the abdominal cavity include the stomach, liver, pancreas, spleen, and parts of the small and large intestines. These organs work together to break down food, absorb nutrients, and eliminate waste from the body.
In the fetal pig, the mesentery is important for connecting the intestines to the abdominal wall. It provides support and allows for the passage of blood vessels, nerves, and lymphatic vessels to and from the intestines. It also helps in maintaining the position and organization of the intestines inside the abdominal cavity.
Most of the small intestine is located in the abdominal cavity. A small amount (approximately the first 10 inches or so) is located behind the abdominal cavity, in what is called the retroperitoneal space. Roughly speaking, the small intestine is framed or bordered by the large intestine. The small intestine is part of the digestive tract and located in the stomach.

the abdominal cavity is part of the torso and includes every major organ not found inside the rib cage. this includes but is not limited to large and small intestines, stomach, liver, kidneys, and bladder.
The stomach and intestines begin development outside the baby's abdomen and only later does the abdominal wall enclose them. Occasionally, either the umbilical opening is too large, or it develops improperly.
