I do notice they increase muscle stiffness for me. I've never had an issue with b12 by itself but as for taking a B-50 or B-100 complex, I definitely notice increased muscle tension which can lead to joint pain.
The best example is when you flex your arm to make the biceps look large. "Make muscle" it is sometimes called.
