It can be used medically for internal or external sutures, gauze's, Pharmaceutical coatings for drugs, cotton fibres for clothing and plastic wrappings. More recently it was also discovered that it can be used for internal bone fragmentation as a biomaterial. I'm not sure how accurate the fragmentation discovery's is, as it was recently published as a substitute use.
Hope that helps.
The first bioplastic was invented by a French chemist named Maurice Lemoigne in the 1920s. He discovered that certain types of bacteria could produce a biodegradable plastic called polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB) as a byproduct of fermentation.
i think it uses its food when it is GROWING-------------
RNA uses uracil instead of thymine in its genetic material.
The brain is the organ in the human body that uses the most energy.
DNA RNA replaces thymine with uracil.
Polyhydroxybutyrate is a polymer with various uses.

PHBV, or poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxyvalerate), is a biodegradable polymer produced by bacteria through fermentation of renewable carbon sources. It is a promising material for applications in bioplastics and biomedicine due to its biocompatibility and biodegradability.
