They must respire, produce protein, move around, even making sound costs energy!
Mitochondria and chloroplasts
The six characterisitics of living things are: 1.Cells 2.Organization 3.Energy use 4.Homeostasis 5.Growth 6.Reproduction
All living things exhibit these characteristics: 1. They are made of cells. 2. They obtain and use energy. 3. They grow and develop. 4.They reproduce. 5. They respond to their environment.
1) Cells- All living things are made up up one cells or multiple cells 2)Organization- all living things' cells are arranged to form an organism (the cells aren't just a jumbled mess) 3) Use of Energy- All living things need to use energy to survive 4)Homeostasis- All organisms can regulate their internal conditions to stay alive 5)Growth- all living things grow 6) Reproduction- All living things reproduce (otherwise they would go extinct!)
1.living things are organized;made of cells 2.living things grow and develope 3.living things respond to stimuli 4.living things maintain homeostasis 5.living things use energy 6.and last but not least living things reproduce(make others like themselves)
1. DNA 2. Cells 3. Grow and Develop 4. Reproduction 5. Respond to stimuli 6. Energy

There are four things that determine if something is living. They are: 1)All living things obey the laws of chemistry and physics. 2)All living things use DNA. 3)All living things require energy. 4)All living things are made up of cells.
Cells are considered living because they have the ability to reproduce and grow. The 7 characteristics of Living Organisms: 1) Composed of cells 2) Take in/ use energy 3) Respond to enviroment 4) Have to grow 5) Reproduce 6) Must evolve and adapt 7) Different levels of organization

1. Cell organism and structure, two types of cells 2. Chemicals of life 3. Energy use 4. Response to surroundings 5. Growth and development 6. Reproduction

The cells of your body use energy in multiple ways. They use energy to maintain themselves and call reproduction called mitosis. In addition energy is used to carry out the cell's task such as carrying oxygen or attacking invading bacteria.
i have 2 do it 4 h/w but im not sure i think it is something about chemical potential energy if you get more info pls help :P
