Cells are the smallest form of life able to survive on their own.
What do Animal cells feed on What do Animal cells feed on
The three processes plants must perform in order to survive include respiration, reproduction, and consumption. By performing all these tasks, they are able to survive and create a new generation to carry on.
All cells "capture" energy, and are able to convert that energy into food. Plant Cells (Prokaryotes) capture the energy emitted from the sun and convert that into energy so they can survive (Photosynthesis).
From living creatures, tigers need to be able to prey on them in order to eat. They also seek for other tigers in order to mate and reproduce. From nonliving things, they rely on well hidden land terrain in order to take cover and hide for an ambush when hunting. They also need water and air to survive. Tigers need a large area to live so that they have enough space and prey as well.
A species must be able to find food, shelter, and water in order to survive and reproduce. Until a species is able to meet its essential needs, it is not able to reproduce and survive.
You know it's living if it has the following: Cells - All living things have cells with chromatin; cells are the building blocks of life. Metabolism - All living things eat, drink, breathe and excrete. Growth - All living things take in material from the environment to enlarge. Reproduction - All living things are able to produce a copy of them. Irritability - All living things are able to react to a change in their environment. Adaptation - All living things are able to compete with each other for food and space to survive.
These cells need sunlight and water to live. Without these they will not be able to survive.
Life as we know it is unlikely to be able to survive in the open on Saturn.
Interdependence means that the cells rely on each other in order to function properly and/or survive.
most of the cells are in contact with a watery environment
not a single cell in the body can survive without oxygen. without oxygen, the cells won't be able to accomplish their work!
Most of its cells are in direct contact with a watery environment
